Landslide in Indonesia Kills 10 People

A landslide happened on a mountain road in East Java, Indonesia, after heavy rain. The mud, rocks, and trees fell onto the road and hit two vehicles near a resort area.

One vehicle was a van with a family of seven. The other was a pickup truck carrying three traders and vegetables. Rescue workers found the van driver on Thursday night. On Friday, they found his wife, three children, and parents, along with the three traders.

Landslides are common in Indonesia during the rainy season from October to April. Many people live in mountain areas, where floods and landslides can be very dangerous.
